East Texas is well known for its many events, and virtually every small town, large city, and county in the region seems to have one (or two or three) each year.
In 1990, the Great Texas Balloon Race was moved to the East Texas Regional Airport, just south of Longview. The airport is still the home of the race today.
The 2017 Lake Country Home & Outdoor Living Show is a two-day event that provides an exciting opportunity for attendees looking to enjoy East Texas.
