Roadrunner Acres RV Ranch is situated in the heart of Wood County, one of the most beautiful spots in the entire state!
*****
Roadrunner Acres is located in East Texas, 4 minutes northwest of Mineola at 4165 North U.S. Highway 69. Although we’re in a ranch setting, there are many conveniences close by.
Within 5 to 7 minutes of Roadrunner Acres, you can be shopping at Walmart, CVS, or Brookshire’s, eating dinner at one of Mineola’s many great dine-in restaurants or numerous take-out/fast food joints, or watching a first-run movie at our local theater, the historic Lake Country Playhouse. Or you can pay a round of golf at the Mineola Country Club. There’s even a convenience store and gas station less than a minute away from the ranch!
Some other local “must see” attractions include the Mineola Historical Museum, the Mineola Depot & Railroad Museum, the Mineola League of the Arts, and the Waldo Way Dairy.
If you like water sports, the main boat ramp and swimming beach at beautiful Lake Holbrook are about 5 minutes away, and only 10 minutes up the road is the closest boat ramp on Lake Fork, famous for its world-class bass fishing. Other local attractions include the Grand Oaks Vineyards & Winery and the Mineola Nature Preserve, both of which are less than 15 minutes away.
State-of-the-art medical care is at your fingertips right here in Mineola, including CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Clinic, ETMC Family Medicine Clinic, ETMC Urgent Care Clinic, and ETMC Olympic Center. In nearby Quitman is ETMC First Physicians’ Clinic & Level IV Trauma Center, and in Tyler are UT Health Science Center and CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Hospital.
Finally, if you need a “big city fix” from time to time, Tyler is about 35 minutes right down Highway 69.
